MIRROR // CANDLE // GRAY FRAME // NEST // LANTERN // FLAMELESS CANDLES
Its a running joke of how many gray color swatches have seen the inside of our house. More of a joke that every time I tell someone we are working a on a new project they ask, “Will it be gray?” Sorry, I’m not sorry, I love all things gray. Any neutral you can count me in, its a lifestyle. I like neutrals from both Sherwin Williams and Benjamin Moore for all farmhouse elegant paint selections.
1. AGREEABLE GRAY (SHERWIN WILLIAMS)
The mother of all grays. Agreeable Gray adapts to all lighting and warmly transforms a room. Grays get a bad rep for being “cold” but this lightens up the mood while maintaining its neutral feeling. Color Code: SW 7029.
2. CHELSEA GRAY (BENJAMIN MOORE)
Chelsea gray is elegant and perfect for a small office or library. We paired this color with our rustic dining room for a deeper color against Agreeable Gray. It nicely highlights our sparkled drapes and oversized mirror. Thus, pairing perfectly with a rustic farmhouse table and tones of brown. Color Code: HC-168.
3. POISED TAUPE (SHERWIN WILLIAMS)
Poised taupe was voted 2017 Color of the Year. Its a perfect romantic blend for bedrooms for its coziness vibe. Poised taupe is tasteful without being overly girly. It pairs beautifully with dark furniture and beige drapes. The contrast with SW Pure White on the trim softens the color. Color Code: SW 6039.
4. PURE WHITE (SHERWIN WILLIAMS)
I never knew there were so many undertones in a traditional white paint. My top pick for a true white would be “Pure White.” Perfect for trims, outlining a areas that feature an accent wall and anywhere you need a neutral backdrop. It’s a clean crisp feeling color. Color code: SW 7005.
5. DIOR GRAY (BENJAMIN MOORE)
Glam. Glam. Glam. Dior Gray color screams elegant and sophisticated. It’s the perfect level of moodiness to bring as an accent wall (pictured above) in a neutral setting. I could see this in a small powder room for extra drama.
