The Big ONE is the first birthday that kids celebrate and deserves an inspiring party! Our son spent 95 days in the hospital when he was born. When I tell you every single day we had a card, a meal or a gift, I mean it. Hitting his birthday was a huge milestone for many reasons and we wanted to host a big party to celebrate his life. But, also, all the support we had during his first year. With COVID, many of our family and friends hadn’t met Cooper. Insane, right?
Enter FIRST BIRTHDAY theme selections…. when I saw a Biggie inspired birthday scouring the internet, I was sold. My love for rap music and the play on words of our little guy getting bigger was a no brainer. He was born at 2 pounds 6 ounces and now is a whopping 18. Our smalls was getting biggie!

In true fashion, we had a VIB section aka VERY IMPORTANT BABY. Only the best for club goers. We had a kids cookie decorating table that featured crown shaped cookies with a variety of frosting and sprinkles for little ones to decorate. It was a hit!
A white DIY bar cart (Facebook marketplace win + spray paint) held kid friendly items – uncrustables, capri suns, ice pops, bubbles and crowns! Pro Tip: Hitting Costco for a few kid friendly items offers younger kids more options and helps save a few dollars on catering! Dollar tree is also a great option for bubbles and small things that keep kids entertained!
